Celebrating 50 Years 1972 - 2022

The holiday letting industry has changed a lot over the last 50 years and so have we. Join us as we look back and celebrate the people and places that helped us build the company we are today.

1972  - The idea of a holiday letting agency is formed.

1973 – Sue Bond and Shirley Baxter start renting out properties for holidays from Shirley's home in Sheringham. Tony Bond (Sue’s husband) was manager at G A Key Estate Agents in Sheringham and put new owners in touch with them who wished to holiday let their home.

1975 – G A Key, Church Street, Sheringham . Holiday properties moved into the office and was run by Betty Riseborough, then Diane Tew, then by Clive Hedges (Manager of G A Key) and his mum Beryl Hedges.

1980 – G A Key, Church Street, Sheringham moved to 18 Station Road, Sheringham.

Their brochure hand typed and printed in black and white had 47 properties listed.

1985 – G A Key offering holidays, produced their first colour brochure, with 81 properties listed.  

1986 – G A Key called the holiday section -  Keys Holidays.

2001 – G A Key became Keys and Clive Hedges promoted to Partner.

2006 – Keys moved to 11 Station Road, Sheringham.

2012 – Keys merged with Arnolds to form Arnolds Keys.

2013 – Keys Holidays changed logo.
