Drawing fun characters
Tuesday 13th February 2018
2pm to 5pm at the Sheringham Community Centre
A fun workshop for children of 8+ and adults led by children's illustrator
Peter Kavanagh. Learn how to draw animals in action with great poses and
fun expressions. Suitable for beginners and those wishing to improve their
techniques, I will show you the tricks that help you bring your animals to life.
Although the class will play with the theme of Valentine’s Day, the
techniques can be applied to any animal you wish. With fun drawing
demonstrations you will see not only how to draw the animal, but also how
to make it run, jump, dance, swim and even throw a kiss! Learn how to give
your animals character so that your dogs can be silly, your cats timid and
your mice heroic! Everyone will go home with a fun picture to be proud of.
Materials will be provided - paper, pencils, rubbers and felt pens.
Refreshments are included and there is car parking at the venue.
Please contact me on 07860 568874 or at firstname.lastname@example.org to book
your place or to ask for any more details. Cost is £10 per person. Children
under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. If an adult wishes to bring a
second child they will only cost £5.
