“Had a really lovely holiday. First time in this lovely cottage, spotless and cosy and very comfortable and welcoming. Had everything we needed. Fantastic location. Had a really wonderful relaxing holiday, despite the bad weather! The cottage was so nice that the weather didn’t matter. Definitely hope to stay there again.”

Amanda

“Comfortable cottage on the coast. The location of the cottage was brilliant. Nice walks over the common to Sheringham. The lounge was a great place to sit with views over the common. Very comfortable bed. The weather was good so the garden was a lovely space to have.

“This was our second visit to Wagtail cottage. We have dogs and children, so good size house with a garden a preference. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, pans, crockery etc. under counter fridge and seperate freezer. Cleaning products supplied.
Things different to last year due to covid 19 rules - no cushions on settees, no books, games dvds etc. No tea, coffee, salt, pepper and other little bits supplied before.
Opposite is part of the common with a good icecream van on the main road for a treat. Lots of lovely walks without having to drive. Quiet family area. About 10 minute walk to the beach and shops.
Morrisons in Cromer do deliveries / click and collect which is handy in these times.
Take aways and restaurants are mostly open.
Some tourist attractions still closed. Steam train book own compartment in advance.
Beach free, clean and great fun for all ages. ”

“We’ve just got home from a stay at Wagtail Cottage and just wanted to say how wonderful it was. The house is beautiful and the added touch of a few Xmas decorations was lovely. The house had everything we needed to make our Christmas perfect.
