This enchanting, brick and flint house in Sheringham has been lovingly refurbished but still boasts an abundance of original features, ranging from revealed beams to exposed sections of brick work. Close to the beach and shops, making it the perfect base from which to explore Norfolk.
From the rear allocated parking space enter the gate for Mill Pond Cottage and go down 5 steps onto decking with 1 further step onto the patio. Ground Floor: Door to Utility Room: hanging rail and shoe rack, second fridge, microwave, washing machine, utility cupboard. Door leading into Dining Room: with table and seating for 8 people, exposed beams, leading through an archway into the Lounge: with two comfortable sofas, brick fireplace with wood burning stove and Smart TV. Door leading into hallway with front door and door to downstairs WC with wash basin. Door to Kitchen/Snug: with breakfast bar and 4 stools, electric oven and hob, integral fridge, freezer and dishwasher, Hotel Chocolat Nespresso coffee machine, 2-seater sofa, and Smart TV.
Staircase leading to First Floor landing (extendable stair gate at bottom), with doors to Principal Bedroom: with Kingsize bed, wardrobe, and chest of drawers with period beams. Double Bedroom: with twin beds (can be zip and linked to form a superking – please advise on booking), chest of drawers and hanging rail, beams. Door to Small Double Bedroom: with double bed and hanging rail. Door to Family Shower Room: with shower cubicle, WC and wash basin. Door to Family Bathroom: Bath with shower over, WC and wash basin, Velux window (please note sloping ceilings).
Steep staircase leading to Second Floor: Open to Twin Bedroom: with 2 x 3ft single beds and additional day bed that can open to full size single bed (can be arranged as triple bedroom – please advise on booking). Please note exposed beams with sloping ceilings.
Outside: Allocated parking space for 1 car. WIFI. 5 steps leading down from parking area with additional step down to rear courtyard garden. Fenced in Stream with seating area. Outdoor furniture.
Please note: 1 x parking space. Bed linen and towels provided. 1 x Well behaved dog welcome at £20.00 per week. Secure garage store availble for bikes/beach gear equipment. Charcoal BBQ available in garage store. Location: 0.1 mile to beach. local cafe a 2-minute stroll. 0.1 mile to shops. Train station a 7-minute walk. Please note arrival time of 4pm. £100.00 refundable security deposit payable.
