“Excellent and cosy accommodation with all mod cons. We were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay. Nice and relaxing and not far from centre for easy access to shops, beach, buses and steam train. Loved sitting outside in our own private area in the immaculate garden. Parking a bonus. The owners Trevor and Sandra are very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Thoroughly recommend.”

Mary M

“The accommodation was immaculate in lovely surroundings, a short walk to the bus and railway stations and shops. We had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to book again when we come to Norfolk.

E Lindsey

“The Den is a lovely flat located in a quiet part of Sheringham. It is beautifully acquitted with every conceivable need. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. We have already booked to return next year.”

Chris A

“Spotlessly clean. Comfortable and well maintained. Good, quiet location with a short walk to the High Street. The parking place had plenty of room. We didn't use any appliances other than the fridge freezer although it was well equipped. There are many eating places in Sheringham so we don't cook....we're on holiday! ”

Nicola L

“A delightful place to stay in an ideal position just a 10 minute walk from the town. It has a parking space and your own private garden to relax in. The Den was spotless and was very well equipped, there was milk and biscuits to welcome us.”

Rachel B

“Another warm welcome from Sandra and Trevor on our second visit to the Den.The high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail was evident throughout and together with fantastic weather, it proved to be a memorable holiday. Elsie and Terry ”

“A lovely property situated in Sherringham in a quiet location but central to all the amenities which are on offer in this lovely Norfolk town. The property itself was immaculate and offered all the facilities needed to make it a lovely comfortable stay. The hosts Trevor and Sandra were most welcoming and even supplied us with the history of the house the Den is attached to.”

Shirley B

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Den. Everything is of the highest quality. Very well equipped. Perfect location - near to town, but "tucked away" and very quiet”

Christine L

“The Den is an exceptionally good holiday cottage serving the North Norfolk Coast. The location is very secluded but within easy reach of the main road and it’s facilities. All the furnishing and fittings in The Den are top quality and we would always choose to stay here when holidaying in North Norfolk.”

“A lovely bungalow annex , which has been tastefully refurbished and fitted with high quality furniture and fittings. All the utensils were first class and it’s location close to shops and the coast could not be faulted. Being blessed with magnificent weather it all added to provide a memorable and enjoyable holiday.”

S & A

“This is a very nice holiday property, very close to the town centre but more of a ground floor flat than a bungalow. Owners were very pleasant on arrival and showed us to our parking space, which was very large. This property is roomy and nice and clean, apart from the kitchen sink which my hubby cleaned. Cannot comment on the cooking appliances as we didn't use them, but they were very clean. Found the 2 steps down from the kitchen to the living room to be quite deep with nothing to hold onto, could use a grab handle for the elderly, like us!. Bathroom and the rest of the property was lovely and clean, the Saniflo toilet was rather noisy when flushed so did not flush during the night, wasn't sure if this could be heard by the owners who's property was adjacent and above us. Walk in shower has grab handles & a seat which was just what I wanted. The bedroom was spacious with lots of wardrobe space, hooks on the back of the door, a full length mirror and power sockets under the dressing table + usb port, a real bonus. The bed was huge but I found it really high, could have done with a foot stool!, hubby managed fine as he is taller than me. The duvet was really heavy we could hardly lift it. A lighter duvet would have been preferred. This would have been lovely and cosy during the winter but not needed as the weather was warm during our stay. Bedroom TV had plenty of channels for late night watching. Sitting room was very spacious, 2 large settees which were fairly comfy. Limited TV channels on the TV though, we did try to retune but it made no difference, preferred the bedroom one. Garden and furniture was lovely, very peaceful as the property is set back from the road. All the bedding, furniture etc was of a very high quality. ”

“We have had a lovely short break in The Den, so peaceful and what a lovely clean place, beautiful furniture and the little extra touches like, hooks on the doors, sockets close to the dressing table and what luxury, a seat in the shower, just like being at home. Thank you Sandra and Trevor for the biscuits and mile and for a super relaxing holiday.”
